How it all Works?
Movie About CRT Recycling for Computer Monitors & TV's
Watch
as a Monitor is fully dismantled in just a few minutes by one of the Recycling Team
at Newtech Recycling. Each component of this old TV is removed and sorted into its
recycling classification. See how the Cathode Ray Tube is separated and the materials
reclaimed for recycling. The processes of environmentally safe disposal are filmed
in this short but fascinating clip at the Newtech Recycling Facility in New Jersey.

Innovations in Recycling Technology
Newtech Recycling is one of the leaders in utilizing the latest ‘state-of-the-art’
equipment for the recycling of cathode ray tubes (CRTs). In everyday terms CRTs
are found in TV sets, Monitor and Computer Screens and can be extremely difficult
to dispose of. However the Newtech Recycling CRT processing machines use the highest
throughput ‘screen splitting’ technology available in the industry today. This method
of treatment constitutes ‘best available technology’ as it separates the leaded
and unleaded portions of the tube, facilitating the re-use of the glass portions
in the manufacture of new CRTs.
The innovative design features embraced by Newtech Recycling have enabled Newtech
to optimise the reliability and performance of cutting glass. The technology used
by Newtech Recycling is fully WEEE compliant which means when you use Newtech Recycling
for the safe disposal of PC’s, Servers, Workstations, Screens, TV’s and Monitors
you’ve made the ‘right choice’.
Disposing of old & unused Computers, Cell Phones and all other Electrical Devices
Newtech works closely with its clients to custom design a Disposal
Management program to best fit their needs. Beginning with a logistical plan to
collect the material, remove the material, and then transport it to our facility.
Next the equipment is evaluated and prepared for processing based on the plan guidelines
set forth by the client. The equipment is then sorted based on product type and
staged for the dismantling portion of our recycling program.
Dismantling the equipment is a specialized process where it is
broken down to component level and then sorted by product type. After sorting, the
material is staged for shipment to our refinery partners throughout the world. These
components will be used as feedstock for new manufacturing, preserving our natural
resources and protecting the environment.
