Disposal Management collection and processing
Once Newtech Recycling has collected or received your obsolete electronics, it is sorted into classifications, such as monitors for disposal, keyboards for disposal, computers for disposal and data destruction.
The Newtech Recycling team then dismantles the equipment & machinery into its smallest components. This is a manual process and requires that each piece of equipment be taken apart.
As each piece of equipment is dismantled by our trained team, the components are sorted by product type. An example of this are: circuit boards or hard drives. These components are then placed into large commercial bins/cartons that when completely are filled, will be staged for shipment to refineries. At Newtech we also bale certain material in order to make our shipments heavier and more cost effective. Once the shipments are complete they are sent to our refinery partners for processing.
This completes our closed loop de-manufacturing process. We have achieved our goal of providing feedstock from our operations to be used in new manufacturing. We have also fulfilled our no landfill promise. Achieving these goals saves our natural resources and protects our environment.
