Inventory management process
Newtech can provide an itemized listing of all equipment received at our facility. The information provided shall include: serial number, manufacturer, model, asset number, and system configurations in a spreadsheet format. Newtech can also custom design a system that meets the needs of a client or adhere to an approved inventory management process.

Receive / Test / Audit/ Sort Process
The first part of the receiving process is the sorting of the material. All material received at our facility is sorted by trained employees who are looking for equipment that is viable for testing for resale or re-marketing. It is important to note that with the speed of obsolescence, this is critical. This sorting evaluates basic characteristics such as: screen burn and year of manufacture for monitors and Pentium levels for CPUs.

Once the material has been separated based on viability, testing begins. Each item is powered up and run through a series of tests. CPU’s and monitors are primarily tested with a small quantity of printers. Due to the nature of printers and the market available for resale, most are not tested. Monitors flow through a series of screen tests as well as physical appearance.

CPUs are powered up with the configurations recorded. At this point an F-disk format of the hard drive takes place to remove any remaining information.

All information is then captured on a spreadsheet and submitted for client review. Depending on the relationship, a disposition path is then chosen.

Property Tag Removal
During the sorting process, our staff removes all property or asset tags displaying ownership.

Ability to provide certificates of destruction and indemnification
Newtech provides Certificates of Destruction for each load of material received. It is standard practice for us to do so. We also can provide documentation stating indemnification.

Detailed Settlement Reporting
Detailed Settlement Reporting can be customized to meet your needs. The typical package has the spreadsheet of the material received that is viable, a summary of all scrap material, an invoice for services rendered, and the Certificate Of Destruction.

Recycling
Newtech is a closed-loop demanufacturing facility. We handle all breakdown of product in-house. Our capabilities are endless due to the systems that we have in place. They can be expanded or contracted based on need. At our facility, all equipment is totally dis-assembled. The resulting material generated through this activity is then placed back into various manufacturing streams as feedstock.

Value Recovery (Remarketing)
Re-marketing services can be provided to the client at their request. This will help offset any fees generated through the process. Newtech has a large source of wholesale contacts to help maximize value. This list is ever changing due to market conditions and needs.

Donation
Newtech can provide a turn-key solution for companies wanting to donate viable equipment. Newtech can refurbish, clean, package and distribute working equipment directly to a charitable organization. All fees will be charged back to the client and can potentially be used as a tax write-off. Invoices will provide an equipment listing, service summary, and their corresponding fees.

Re-deployment
As with the above, Newtech has the capability to custom design a re-deployment campaign to meet clients needs. We can provide all of the services needed to get the equipment back into the field in a fast and efficient manner based on the clients requests. As part of the process, Newtech can also hold inventory for a client for a nominal fee and distribute as necessary. We can also work to manage an inventory and keep it filled with current technology. As newer equipment comes in from a client, the older equipment is removed and sold, donated, or recycled.

Return-to-lessor
As with the above services, Newtech can provide this service as well. The structure would be similar here with the material going back to the lessor. Detailed listings of the equipment will be provided to the lessor to verify that all material is returned, in the proper fashion. Data from the lessor would be matched to verify that the right equipment is being returned.

Newtech does all recycling activities on site. In our industry, it is all about what we call “Recycling the Right Way”. All de-manufacturing is down by our staff, under our roof. All equipment is broken to its most saleable component level.
