Newtech Recycling offers an environmentally conscientious collection and disposal service that specializes in recycling CPU’s, mother boards, cards and all types of circuit board.
Newtech will recycle more than just your e-waste, we also remove and recycle casings, racks, cabinets, conduits, cabling, electrical infrastructure and exchanges.
We will accept most electrical equipment and some electrical tools. However, we do not recycle white goods or radioactive materials, including x-ray hospital equipment.
Recycling electric motors starts with the motor being transported to our recycling facility for dismantling. An electric motor can be disassembled using general mechanical procedures. However, it can be a time-consuming process, especially if the motor is old and worn. Electric motors consist mostly of metal parts, which are fully recyclable.
Most old electric motors consume more materials (such as copper and steel) than modern electric motors. The materials used in an old electrical motor, provided it has been recycled correctly could well go on to create 2 modern electric motors of equal power. Electric generators pretty much use the same materials found in an electric motor. This means that Newtech Recycling is also able to recycle the main coil of electrical generators. The Newtech recycling center is an e-waste disposal facility for business electronics and e-waste. We act as a center for recycling most electrical components or obsolete electrical spare parts. To assist you in a corporate clean out the Newtech Recycling e-waste disposal service runs a fleet of trucks and removal teams.
We are capable of collecting just a few boxes of loose electrical parts or removing tons of scrap electronics. Once your electrical hardware has been collected or removed, it is driven to our main recycling facility, where it is sorted into categories of waste. Following e-waste classification your electronic waste is disassembled in a process we call demanufacturing. This process helps separate out the electrical components so they can be better recycled.
Circuit boards are guilty of containing some of the worst contaminants, so much so, that more and more States are banning them from landfill sites. The best practice for circuit board disposal is considered to be recycling, however, the recycling process itself can be an extremely complex process due to material bonding.
Most PCB (printed circuit boards) are found in cell / mobile phones, tablets, PCs and even printers. Things like RAM switches and thousands of other electronics are held on circuit boards. Basically, a printed circuit board mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive surface. Separating and recycling these is no small job.
